Healthy Recipes For Diabetes

Bitter Gourd Juice

Ingredients : for 1 glass

Bitter gourd : 1 no
Fresh lemon juice : 1/2 teaspoon
Fenugreek seeds powder : 1/2 teaspoon
Salt : A pinch
Turmeric powder : 1 tea spoon

Method :
  1. Wash the bitter gourd thoroughly.
  2. Cut it into small pieces.    
  3. Soak the cut pieces in water with little salt and half teaspoon turmeric powder for 15 minutes to remove the bitter taste
  4.  Remove the pieces from the water and grind it in the mixer with enough water. Now filter it .   
  5. Add lemon juice and fenugreek seeds powder and stir well.
  6.  Drink the juice as per your doctor's advise.

Healthy and Nutritious Milk

Healthy and Nutritious Milk with Dates

Very healthy and nutritious hot drink. Works as a medicine in cold and cough. In winter season very effective and nutritious diet after child birth for women.

Ingredients :

Dates : 100 gm
Milk : 250 ml
Sugar : 50 gm

Method :

1. Boil milk till 10 minutes at medium and low heat.
2. Clean dates and remove seeds.
3. Then add dates in boil milk and boil continue for 20 minutes at low heat.
4. Add sugar and boil for 2 minutes at low temp.

Healthy and Nutritious Fruit Juice
Ingredients :

Ripe mango pulp : 500 ml
Pomegranate juice : 250 ml
Sugar : 2 table spoon or as per your taste
Cardamom Powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Dry Fruit Piste in small pieces : 1 big spoon
Grated ice or small ice cubes : 2 big spoon

Method :
1. In mixer grinder jar ripe mango pulp add with sugar and ice, grind it well.
2. In this mango juice add pomegranate juice and cardamom powder and mix slightly with spoon. Garnish pista and served chilled.
3. If you do not have mango pulp, try it with pineapple juice.

Healthy and Nutritious Milk Shake

Healthy and Nutritious Milk Shake

It is a healthy and nutritious refreshing drink as good as a dessert. Wonderful and nutritious drink for students and pregnant women.

Ingredients :

Milk : 3 cups
Almonds : 5 to 10 no.
Honey : One Table Spoon
Cardamom Powder : 1/2 tea spoon
Ripe Banana : 1 no.
raisin or sweet grapes : 10 to 20 no.
Saffron : a few strands

Method :
1. Soak almonds and raisin overnight in water. Remove the skin of almonds and grind along with banana, raisin, honey..
2. Then add milk into the mixer grinder, and blend along with the other ingredients. Garnish with Saffron strands and cardamom powder. Serve chilled or as you like.
